Think Like an Editor: How to Land Bylines
Getting published in news or magazine outlets can feel like a mystery. But it doesn't have to be.
In this free 1-hr workshop, I pull back the curtain on how to work with editors to break through and get your work published. I've worked for nearly 20 years as a writer and editor, writing for outlets like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Elle, and Women's Health, among other publications.
In this free 1-hr workshop, I pull back the curtain on how to work with editors to break through and get your work published. I've worked for nearly 20 years as a writer and editor, writing for outlets like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Elle, and Women's Health, among other publications.
This one-off class will cover how to develop your ideas, how to approach editors and get them to greenlight your stories, and tips for developing your pitches.
Editors may seem scary, but they're not. They're on the hunt for well-told stories, so why shouldn't it be yours?
