Spring Fiction Workshop
Do you have a short story or a novel you’ve been working on? Are you finally ready for feedback? As writers, feedback is a crucial part of the writing process. We all need an “extra set of eyes” to look at our work, to point out a story’s strengths as well as the places where it needs attention.
In this unique two-hour online workshop, we’ll dive into our own work, examining it for plot, character, setting, theme, and other storytelling topics. You will get real-time feedback on your work, enabling you to enrich your own writing.
You will also read the works of your fellow classmates. By discussing their stories, you’ll deepen your own understanding of the craft of fiction.
At the end of seven weeks, you’ll have a better understanding of your own work, thoughtful revision stategies, and the tools to help you become a better self-editor, all so you can level up your own writing. But mostly, we’ll have fun delving into our own stories. This workshop is intended for beginning and intermediate writers looking to improve their fiction. (Experienced writers are also welcome!)
