Creative Storytelling for Kids
Welcome to Creative Storytelling–a writing workshop for kids who love to tell stories. This writing workshop is designed to help elementary school kids improve their writing by better understanding themselves and the world around them. We will work on critical thinking skills while helping young writers develop their ideas. We will tell and write stories together using examples from pictures, objects, music, short videos and life.
Our curriculum aligns with California’s Common Core standards and includes various writing genres. It is both academic in structure and creative by nature. We believe in incorporating elements beyond the classroom, allowing young writers to enjoy learning creatively and applying it to their storytelling.
