The San Francisco Creative Writing Institute in collaboration with Central Market Now presents City Stories Workshop 2.0–a series of creative writing workshops led by award winning poet, performer, and longtime arts organizer Paul Corman-Roberts.
Words can give us a home when we need more of a home, shape us, and build our histories. Words can be a map to help us find ourselves. We’ll be writing poems, letters, autobiographies or anything we want. We’ll be writing the stories of our cities and the stories of our lives. What’s your story?
This FREE workshop is for everyone: people with limited and fixed incomes are encouraged to sign up. No background in writing is required, just a desire to say what’s on your mind. Experienced writers are also welcome.
We will also be providing free pizza and beverages to workshop participants. Please sign up in advance if you can, or, just show up.
These workshops will be held at a different location from our previous City Stories workshops. They will now be at SF Creative Writing Institute headquarters, 25 Taylor Street, San Francisco, where we hold the majority of our classes. Hope to see you there!
