City Stories closes out its 2016-2017 workshop season with an excursion into the paranormal, surreal, and the magical realism that live both outside and inside the concrete jungle. Let’s write poems, stories, letters about the city, about our predecessors and the “ghosts” who make up the rich fabric of our Bay Area landscape, both the old and the new.
This FREE workshop is for everyone: people with limited and fixed incomes are encouraged to sign up. No background in writing is required, just a desire to say what’s on your mind. Experienced writers are also welcome.
We will also be providing free pizza and beverages to workshop participants. Please sign up in advance if you can, or, just show up.
These workshops will be held at a different location from our previous City Stories workshops. They will now be at SF Creative Writing Institute headquarters; 25 Taylor Street. San Francisco. Hope to see you there!
We are able to offer this course because of a grant from the California Arts Council and in partnership with SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts.
