Experimental Writing – with Cassandra Rockwood Ghanem

Are you a poet always on the brink of a narrative essay, or a fiction writer who craves genre-breaking inspiration? Do you write creative nonfiction but feel there’s something lackluster in your approach? Or are you new to writing and looking for an entry point? Let’s face it, these past few years have been anything but commonplace – and we need fresh writing to reflect what’s transpired in our society, and within each of us.

In this 6-week Experimental Writing Workshop, we will explore cutting edge contemporary poets & writer’s tools and techniques and lean into their examples. Each week will consist of a generative class where, through discussion, readings, and take-home exercises, writers will stretch their own limits and release stifling patterns.

Whether you’d like to revive a stalled project, bring an idea to life, or simply elasticize your mind by diving into something new, this workshop will give you an opportunity to think and write in unexpected ways!
